We are pleased to announce that the Kinship Partners Crosby office will be hosting its 6th Annual Taste of the Cuyuna Lakes on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge to recognize and celebrate the fine restaurants and chefs from the Cuyuna Lakes area.

and must be purchased in advance.***
The premier chefs will provide an evening of gourmet tastes and the samples of wine and beer contribute to making this a very special occasion. Along with a silent auction, it is an “eat a little, drink a little, bid a little…” evening of merriment for everyone! All proceeds benefit the Crosby area Kinship Partners youth mentoring program.
While you are enjoying the wine and beer tasting time (5:30 pm-6:30 pm) professional chef/judges will be sampling the evening’s dishes to determine the award winners from the following categories: starter (appetizer, soup, or salad), entrée, and dessert.
Then at 6:30 pm, as our guest, you will enter the dining room and “Taste” the samples provided by area chefs and caterers. In addition, you will vote for your favorite which will determine the People’s Choice Award.

2018 Chef Winner’s Announced
Ten chefs brought their most delectable starters, entrees, and desserts to serve the sold-out gathering supporting the Crosby office of Kinship Partners youth mentoring program. Chef Judges for the evening were Chef Tom Kavanaugh – Kavanaugh’s Sylvan Lake Resort and Dr. Jamie S. Skjeveland, ED.D – Crosby Superintendent of Schools.
The winner for Best Starter was The Wharf for their Korean Barbecue Beef Street Taco.
The award for Best Entrée was presented to Heartwood for their Coconut Curry Seafood with Jasmine Rice and Traditional Raita.
The award for Best Dessert went to Mixed Company for their Truffle assortment of Expresso, Raspberry, Irish Cream, and Turtle, sea salt, caramel fudge.
The People’s Choice Award, which is voted on by the guests in attendance, was presented to Chefs Jerod Borchert & Don Cekalla from Croft Pub & Grub who served; Barbequed Ribs and Mac & Cheese.
